Abstract


Erkek Basketbol Oyuncularının Alt ve Üst Ekstrimiteden Elde Edilen Bazı Performans İle İlgili Fiziksel Uygunluklarının Belirlenmesindeki Bazı Değişkenlerin Rolü
The purpose of the present study was to determination of the role of some values in determining upper and lower body physıcal fıtness related with performance characterıstıcs in male basketball players. According to the results of Stepwise Multiple Regression Analyses, lower body peak power (LBPP) were significantly correlated with right-left leg fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass (R=0.71, p=.005). Right-left leg fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass predicted 51,17% of the LBPP. Right-left leg fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass predicted 64.4% of the LBRPP and also lower body mean power (LBMP) were significantly correlated with right-left leg fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass (R=0.62, p=.005). right-left leg fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass predicted 39,1% of the LBMP. However lower body relative mean power (LBRMP) were significantly correlated with right-left leg fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass (R=0.77 p=.005). However, upper body peak power (UBPP) were significantly correlated with right-left arm fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass (R=0.64, p=.005). Right-left arm fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass predicted 41,7% of the UBPP. Upper body mean power (UBMP) were significantly correlated with right-left arm fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass (R=0.92, p=.005). right-left arm fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass predicted 85,6% of the UBMP. On the other hand back strength (BS) were significantly correlated with right-left arm fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass (R=0.93, p=.005). right-left arm fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass predicted 87.3% of the BS. As a conclusion, the results of the present study indicated that right-left leg fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass were important factors in determining LBPP, LBMP and LS also right-left arm fat, fat mass, muscle, lean mass; trunk fat, fat mass, muscle and lean mass were important factors in determining UBPP, UBMP, BS and GS.
